We booked a Gold Club room and I have a Landrys card, question is......... Is the free room upgrade worth it? We have never stayed at the Nugget so I am not familiar with the rooms but the Gold Club rooms seem to be a pretty sweet deal. What do you think?

The gold club rooms are very nice. Not sure what the upgrade is, but I would stick with the gold club room if you already have it booked. Only room I really like better is the Jr Suite in the rush tower, but its not too much different. Love staying in the gold tower. Super easy access to the casino.
We love the Nugget and stay there at least once a year. Great restaurants and fun to be downtown!

I have stayed in Carson and Gold towers. Both are very nice
And gold is much closer to Fremont St.
I don't think you will be disappointed.

There used to be Keurig coffee makers in the rooms. If you drink
Coffee, take a few of your own as the ones they leave for you are
Minibar prices. We didn't know and it was
Cheaper buying at the Starbucks downstairs,
    If you can believe that!

We have stayed in the Gold Club rooms several times. Your on the 16th or 17th floor of the tower right over the casino. These rooms have some nice perks. Fruit and candy in the hall next to the elevator. Bottled water, and head of line for the buffet and coffee shop. The floors are key card access controlled. I believe they also had newspapers in the morning. They still give you access to the VIP lounge which has free coffee, soft drinks, bottled water and snacks. These floors are quiet and no kids running around making a racket. Enjoy your stay. I think you will like it. AL C.
