Got and accepted invite to "Classico Tournament".

Two rounds on Saturday, one on Sunday. 1st place $50K, minimum $500 in FP for all.

What do these things look like in terms of length of rounds ?
What machines are typically used ?
Anyone else going to attend this ?

I've played in a few of these at Venetian and M Resort. They're a blast!

Rounds will probably be 10 minutes each. Venetian used reel machines (blazing 7's) and M used Video slots. Reels are more fun for tournaments IMO. Either way you'll see a lifetime's worth of jackpots in each 10 minutes session.

Sounds like you're playing for a nice little purse, too!

Most likely the machines will be the "Mandalay Waves" machines that they use for every tournament I've ever seen there. Usually 15 minute roundst MB.

Is this an invite tourney and is there any entry fee?

It was an email offer, it was complementary but I don't see that there is any fee or value associated with entry. All prizes are free play. 150 entrees, minimum $500, $175k total purse.

Thanks for the info about round duration and machine type @ typical Mandalay Bay tourneys.
