Hello all!!!! I'm in Vegas and today I had my first hand pay of $ 2,700 on a wizard of oz machine at harrah's!!!!!!! I'm still shocked :) I had to resist the temptation of playing it all back! Instead I got the cash and walked away :)

I've only had 1 handpay b/c I don't play much on machines, but any time I have a big win, I tell myself that I'll enjoy paying for my next trip out there more than whatever I might do with the money on the current trip. Treat yourself to a nice dinner and pocket the rest for your return voyage. Win win, baby! Congrats

    Nice going on the win:thumbsup:

I so agree with this. What are you going to do for the rest of the trip? Not gamble? I know I couldn't.:poke:

    Congrats Daniela.

50% should go to next trip fund
25% back into the atm to tour bank account
25% into your bankroll for this trip

If you do this, youll be happy when you get home, gauranteed. Have fun!

Thank you guys!!!!!! I'm only in town for another day. My trips age usually 2 night trips because I come so often. Last night I was good and didn't gamble. Today I'll treat myself to the show. But tonight it'll be hard not to gamble :) I like the idea of putting 25% back to gambling :)

O like Chonglosaxons idea. would be a good win if you kept 75% of your money!

I agree with everyone who says gamble, but limit your losses. You will be really happy with yourself if you go home 2k ahead on the gambling, I know I would be.

Congratulations, it's so much fun isn't it! I like Chonglosaxons idea too. We take the amount of money we're comfortable losing with us but if we win an amount that is smaller than a handpay amount, say $800, we'll use it to gamble with instead of our own cash. It just feels better to us to gamble with their money instead of our own but if the win is bigger than that we'll go lock a bunch of it up so we make sure it's going home with us for next time.

Congrats!! Save some and buy your self something nice! Every time your look at it (wear it, use it, etc.) you'll be reminded of your big win! I bought a large flat screen and some fishing gear and still get a kick that it was free! Ha Ha! Good Luck and nice hit!
