I have never had the nerve to even ask a casino host if I qualify for any comps. Guess I didn't think I gambled enough. But this trip the pit boss told me to make sure I talk to a casino host before I leave. So I did. I was staying at Encore, so I doubted I'd get anything, but i did try. Woohoo... they rated me at 16 hours of play with a average bet of $55. The CH paid all my food and beverage charges. Said the room rate I had was already really low so he couldn't help me out there. I was pleasantly surprised. Great trip all around.

16 hours at $55/bet is nothing to sneeze at, regardless of what game you're playing. Glad you got what you had coming.

I hope others in your shoes read this thread because it highlights a few important points, IMO: you won't get anything unless you ask, and sometimes you'll be pleasantly surprised at how much you've earned.

How many days was that over? If you are playing 4+ hours a day at $50+ average bet, you would be surprised at the comps you could get at a lower end casino (just lower than Encore, not a dump... Luxor, NYNY, Bally's, Flamingo, etc...).

That sounds about right/fair for your play. I am interested that they did pick up this f&b while you were on a paid rate, most places want to comp room nights before any f&b. Sounds like you did well compwise.
