Ok I can't take it anymore. I had to get a PreTR up. Especially since things have changed a bit since I first joined VMB and and got my trip booked. Finally hit the less than 5 days out. Will be in Vegas from the 28th -31st. Originally planned all 3 nights at the Stratosphere but today thanks to MyVegas on Facebook the wife and I will spend the first night at the Mirage. Then move over to the Strat for 2 nights. Thanks to everyone here and some great tips I am only paying for one night. Doing a rental car for entire trip another 1st for me( rented for ONE day only on my second trip). This is also my first trip that is STRICTLY a fun NO schedule trip. Usually am in Vegas with other firefighters for competitions.

Also going to move beyond the craps table where I spend the majority of my time in a casino to playing some VP and more blackjack. Have been studying basic strategy on both for awhile now. Also picked up the ACG for some additional savings. The anticipation is growing, feeling confident it will be a great trip. Will be glad to get the full TR up.

Each time I've gone to Vegas I've had some idea of what I want to do and then usually end up wasting time with the others I'm with. This time just my wife and I so hoping we are able to get in at least 70% of what we want to do.

Arrival is mid afternoon Tuesday and we are thinking about doing Rock of Ages at the Venetian that night. Yea I know mixed reviews but both my wife and I are huge 80's music lovers so to us it is worth it. We want to also try and get in Terry Fator so will see on that one. Ive purchased a spa package for the wife off of Travelzoo for one of the "locals" spots. While she is at the spa I'm planning on playing at one of the off strip casinos. I would really like to head out of town and see Red Rocks.

Will hit up the Peppermill as my wife and I love that place and I have a great memory of the first time there when I met a "friend of bill". Have a reward for Lunch buffett at the Bellagio but might not get there until the "end" of lunch time and make that a supper meal. Who knows on the rest of the food.

Hitting Fremont Street as my wife likes the light show and I want to see "Slotzilla's" progress since I was there in Oct. I have to hit up the GG to see what everyone here raves about with the play there. Gonna try VP at 4Queens, and must get in some play on the craps table at Binion's. I know there are better places to play but I love the vibe of the craps pit at this place and the dice have been good to me on my last 2 trips here. Thinking I will also try some time at The California and MSS while downtown. Also have to play some more at Harrah's as that was the hottest table I played at in Oct. and I wasnt even playing the Fire Bet( I will this time). If anyone is in Vegas next week and wanna meet up for some craps action I'd love to play with other VMB folks.

Last year, my friend wasted almost 2 hours watching other ppl play roulette and never playing. With those 2 hours, we could have been doing other things
