I stayed 2 nights at Fiesta Henderson early May and can't say enough about it. From check-in to check-out, the people there were the most friendly in any resort in Vegas. I don't get out that way often, so was really glad they haven't gone down. If you are looking for a Cosmo type, it's not there, but is fresh, clean, spacious, and most important, friendly.

Its refreshing to hear positive feedback on a local place. Thanks for sharing your experience.
In the early days, even though we stayed on the strip, we'd rent a car and hop around the station casinos - always had a fun time and staff and fellow gamblers were always friendly - nice to hear that's still the case. We are considering a couple nights at GVR at the beginning of our next trip, have never stayed off the strip before, and would be an opportunity to check out Fiesta Henderson as well.

Fiesta Henderson is one of my favorite places to play and have always wondered what it would be like to stay there! :) Thanks for the review!

We like the Fiesta too, but would never stay in their rooms...far below par. Same with the Fiesta Rancho rooms are terrible, but we love the Guarduno's there.

You must set a very high bar. The rooms I have had were always nice, clean, and everything worked.

Really enjoyed this place when it was the Reserve back about 15-20 years ago (opened in 1998). Good to hear that people still like it.

Stay away from Fiesta Rancho though as it is not the same. Don't confuse the 2 as the same. Glad you enjoyed a locals joint

The Fiesta Reserve was first casino hotel we stayed at, around 2000. Agree with previous posters.
My very first Vegas buffet was a $10.99 Sunday brunch type meal with crab legs and prime rib. That sold me.
