I have a trip coming up soon and have a few questions:

    1) I always stay downtown but have not played at the Golden Gate since the remodeled. Think I am going to give it a go this time. What is the usual table minimum at craps? And when buying the 4/10, do they let you pay the vig after you win?

    2) I like sitting at the bar, drinking free drinks, but video poker gets boring for me. Anyone ever try the video blackjack on those machines? Are they 3/2, DDaS, etc etc.?

    Thank you!

    1) I don't think I have ever seen them go over a $5 minimum, but its probably happened. I wouldn't expect them ever to go over $10 this decade. Not sure about buying the 4/10.

    2) I believe its normal video blackjack with the same poor rules you have probably come to expect. I base this on also liking the GG bar and have spent tons of time on those machines. I don't remember the blackjack being anything unusual.

These are based on my lack of a memory of anything different.

I haven't ever see a Vegas casino charge the vig just for buying, only on the win
    I think you're fine

A LOT of casinos in Vegas charge the vig "up front"...but I'm not sure which ones do/don't...but I know a lot DO.

and On the Video BlackJack...BlackJack's only pay even money...better off finding one of the BIG machines with the CGI dealer.

Craps min. is almost always $5. It will go up to $10 on really big days like March Madness, Super Bowl etc., but in June you can expect $5. I don't usually buy the 4-10, but most places downtown only charge on wins. I don't know for certain at GG

Those who charge the vig upfront has got no class imho. I know the Boyd properties only charge the vig on a win.
