So, just curious about my recent take on the subject... are there just fewer higher stakes women blackjack players then men? I've recently started playing higher limits, as I now have the bankroll to do so, and I feel like people are always surprised when I sit down at the table. Part of it also might be that I look young, I'm 30, but I still get carded all the time. I have also had men come up to me after i was done playing to tell me how impressive it was. I mean, I doubt they would go up to another guy and say the same thing??? Probably just being hit on in that case though. The thing that bothers me, is that people seemed surprised when I'm willing to play correctly. It's as if they think I shouldn't be playing with the "big boys" Yeah, I have 5k on the hand, but it's better to win 10k, and the odds are there, so why wouldn't I double down?? Just curious if I'm being too sensitive, or if others see it too??
