I've been going to Vegas for 16 Years, and a lot of awesome restaurants have come and gone. Here are a few that are now gone that were my favorites:

    1) Les Artistes Steakhouse @ Paris: I loved this restaurant and even had a Group of 60 people eat here for a conference. Even though this restaurant is gone, GRS is in its place which I can't complain

    2) Monte Carlo Brew Pub: I ate at the Brew Pub probably twice a trip for about 8 years before it morphed into The Pub. I have only been to The Pub once since it changed over

    3) The Range @ Harrahs: I really, really enjoyed this Steakhouse. I was said when it became a Ruth Chris

    Which Restaurants do you miss?

Margarita's at The Frontier. Huge portions and great Tortilla Soup! And how could you not love the ambiance of a casino that fixed rips in the carpet with grey duct tape!?!?!?!?

I really liked American Fish at Aria for their happy hour.

    Bradley Ogden at Caesars

Everything on the menu was great! It was one of the first farm fresh restaurants in Vegas.

All my friends would laugh at me because I would always get the $25 Burger and Fries from the bar menu.

    It will always be missed!

I second Rosemary's. You couldn't beat half priced food on Wednesday Ladies Night.

I could name a few, but Seablue at MGM was my favorite strip restaurant for a few years. Fantastic food, relaxing bar, and a hip but not pretentious atmosphere

Commander's Palace, boy do I miss that place. The original Andre's downtown was also great.

+1. The seven-course tasting menu, the three-course lunch with $.25 martinis, that NOLA service that is seamless and never enveloping ... a great spot.

The "Ye Old Lobster House", the forerunner to the now also defunct Rosewood Grill.
20 years later and it is still the single best dinner I have ever had.

Not a restaurant per se, but I sure do miss the hell out of it....

The small hot dog stand run by a little ol' lady at Barbary Coast/Bill's.
It was in the back by the sportsbook.

You could get a hot dog and a draft beer for $1.25

Another vote for Victorian Room. Late night eggs there saved me from many a hangover.

I can't remember the name but there was a restaurant at the Luxor we went to on our first trip to Vegas in 2000. It was their upscale restaurant (they might have had more) but they served the best table side caesar salad I ever had. It was very old school but done to perfection. I have had many table side caesars but nothing has come close to it. The other food we had that night was very good as well. We tried going back a couple years later and the place was gone.

Quark's - the wife and I went there repeatedly when we were dating. Kitschy but charming.

The Range - great food with even better service for a quite reasonable price. I refuse to eat at Ruth's Chris on general principle, so scratch one good steakhouse.

Don't apologize for the Westward Ho dog. That sucker was perfect for a 20-something on a solo trip. I ate more than a few of those dogs back in the day.

This was one of my favorite places, before the strike it was a 2 hour wait to get in to eat at Margaritas or the Weekend Seafood Buffet. Also before the strike it had not gone downhill yet.

We were ordering once, I ordered a appetizer and entree and the Waiter say no that is too much food leave off the appetizer.
