Which casino(s) have the best dealers in downtown Las Vegas? Which have the worst ones? Are there any special or lucky dealers out there who you like playing with? Specifically, who has the best craps crews?

I personally like dealers who have some personality and who are outgoing and friendly. Some of the dealers in downtown are obviously new and struggle even counting to 21 at blackjack or making the right payouts at craps.

I agree with Golden Gate dealers being great! I also like the Plaza dealers alot. I am looking forward to SB weekend so I can try out The D and its dealers! Worst dealers imo are El Cortez.

The girls as the Spike. They may not be the best looking girls in Vegas, but they're usually lots of fun.

We just play downtown but the GG has consistently friendly BJ dealers. One dealer - I was going to name her but don't want to get her in trouble :) - stands out in my mind. After a few hours of play, she told my hubby he was off kilter and suggested he quit for the night. He was sober enough to remember and thanked her on the next trip.

Welcome to the board! That's a nice name you have

I haven't played at all the casinos downtown but I'd like to share my input on the ones I did play in: (specifically crap dealers...)

The Cal: Very knowledgeable and experienced. Very friendly and lots of respect and patience since a lot of the players there are older and therefore slower and a little hard of hearing...

MSS: A little aloof sometimes but always polite and cordial. There were times the dealers would talk among themselves and that can be rude and annoying. But for the 20 times odds I'll overlook that trivial complaint!

4 Queens: Friendly and pretty wild, if you ask me! Fun group of dealers that love the game and the craziness that can happen sometimes.

Fremont: Ultimate fun. The boxpersons sometimes have the personality of a moss log but the dealers are the best downtown imho. They are fast, accurate, remember your name (if you toke, that is...) and like to mix it up with the gambling crowd. Tables are often crowded and fun!

Seems like Binions and the D are fun places to play in but I haven't had a chance to do so, only watched from afar. The Golden Nugget seems too snotty for me but I could be wrong, just seems that way. Vegas Club is so dead just like the Plaza so I wouldn't know what to make of those places.

Golden Gate looks like a rockin fun place to play craps, I definitely will play there next time...

There is (or maybe was) a craps dealer at Binions that was a dead ringer for Amanda Peet. At first, one of our guys who saw her while we weren't around was pretty wobbly, so we didn't believe him... but we had to stop by four or five times that next day to see if she was there.

And if I didn't see her myself, I wouldn't have believed it. But nobody caught her name. During our trip this past October, I actually asked a floor super about her, but without knowing her name, he was of no help.

So, if you've seen a Binions craps dealer that looks like this... let me know her name and if you know if she is still there.

Does anyone remember the dealer that used to be at the Golden Gate before the big changeover? The guy had to be 100 years old, was as slow as can be, and his hands shook when he dealt the cards.

I have no idea what his name was, but we all used to call him Methuselah.

No, but I have had that at Mirage. Holy cow, this guy needed a walker to stand at the table.

Golden Gate. Not only are they pretty and scantily clad, but they are fun too. I asked them before if management made them interact with the customers like they do. Twice been told no, it's just the nature of the gals they hire.

I second the Spike too. A little place, but the girls there were surprisingly cute and fun.

It has to be the Golden Gate Girls. I sat down and played 3 card poker and was the only one playing for awhile back in October so I was able to talk with the dealer. She and I had a great conversation and I asked her about the dealers there. GG used to be an break in joint, meaning that this is where new dealers got their start. Not any more. She told me that they are looking for dealers with experiance and are good looking. She went on to say that the owners are very up on making the GG a nice place, good dealers, and a good deal. All of which I found.

I asked one of the black jack dealers how come the girls don't deal craps. She said, "None of us are smart enough to."
    :evillaugh

    She was kidding.
    I think.

There is (was) a black woman that dealt days at the Golden Gate. Can't remember her name but I really enjoy sitting at her table when she is dealing. She remembers me from year to year and I appreciate that.

The craps dealers at Golden Gate and Binion's are my favorites downtown. Always a friendly group and a great atmosphere.

My two favorite places to play are Golden Nugget and MSS. I don't know any dealers at MSS, but know many at Golden Nugget. I've made some friends there and we keep in touch. However, there are some dealers at the Nugget that I will never play on their table. A couple are just complete idiots who could care less that you're on your vacation. You're just an inconvenience to them. 90% of the Nugget dealers are awesome though!

I've never had an issue at MSS dealers.

El Cortez is fun to play, but the dealers are less than friendly at times. For a break-in joint, they need to learn pretty quickly before advancing to "work the crowd" if they expect good service tips. That being said, I've had fun with some great dealers there too.

Just a few days back from a 12 day trip to LV.

I always gamble 1 night downtown. Golden Gate is the nuts!

    Great/funny/awesom dealers !

Atmosphere is great and everything is so relaxed.
Had our own Pai Gai table for 4 hours, nobody wanted to join us :drunk:

Next trip I will be back!

The sexy dealers at the gold spike are hilarious. They aren't particularly sexy and they have funny fatalistic attitude about being there. Kinda of a "so it's come to this" frame of mind. If you tip them nicely they really open up and they have a great sense humor.

I love the dealers at the Golden Gate. Especially Alyssia, she is very friendly. Last week a friend of mine went to the GG for the second time this year and bought a Golden Gate calender for me. With an autograph from Alyssia. Wowwwwwww. :drunk:
