Husband would say it's the French Quarter omelet at Margaritaville.

For me, it's the fruit plate and bagel at Society Cafe, Wynn.
Just delish. Lots of antioxidants to knock out those liver-killing
toxins I ingest while in Sin City. :wink2:

    What's yours?

We're thinking of going to the Jazz Brunch at Wynn as part of
our anniversary trip in September. I've heard many good things
    about it.
Anybody have any suggestions on what to try there?

All time favorite - the Lobster benedict from Wynn room service.

Our other two favorite go-to breakfast spots are Bouchon at Venetian & Morel's at Palazzo.

Bouchon does awesome chicken & waffles. Their french toast rocks, too. And their omelettes and white sausage are great as well. Really everything is great there, any time of day. But if you're there for breakfast you must get a side of the Beignets for the table to share - absolutely to die for.

At Morel's I usually get either the crab omelette or the steak & eggs - they do a really good steak & eggs there. The wife loves their Belgian waffles there & their huevos rancheros, too. Plus Morel's is a great spot to sit outside in the morning before it gets too hot.

My 2 favorites are Mon Ami Gabi or Le Creperie in Paris. I don't generally like a really heavy breakfast and both places are delicious.

I love anything with hollandaise sauce. The two dishes on the Jazz Brunch made to order that I like are these.

    Eggs Versailles*
    Poached Eggs, Smoked Salmon, Brioche,
    American Caviar, Hollandaise Sauce

Poached Eggs with Barbecued Smoked Pork*
    Bacon-cheese Muffins, Charred Green
    Chile Hollandaise Sauce

Keep in mind if there is anything you want that they have, they will make for you. You are not limited to the menu.

You guys are going to think I am really lame, but I eat Dunkin Donuts alot for breakfast when I am in Vegas. I used to live in a few towns that have them, but now I live in a place that doesn't have one for a couple hundred miles so it is almost a treat. The coffee is better than Starbucks IMO, and the donuts and breakfast wraps are awesome. Besides when you are in a town and you are spending alot of moolah on lunch and dinner, my wallet thanks me after breakfast at DD

Well, I guess I am lame too because the first thing that came to mind was the french toast at EI. I love their ham and eggs, too.

    Not lame at all.
I like to hear about different breakfast spots and keep them
in mind for future trips. Thanks.

    Right there with you, zamboni.
I'm originally from MA, so I know all about the Dunkin Donuts love.
I prefer their coffee and bagels to just about any other.
I'm not a fan of Starbucks coffee at all. Too much "roast" for me.

Bouchon is definitely on our list. I've heard and read a lot of reviews
    of the place.
Just need to make time to get there.
We've been playing a bit more at Palazzo and Venetian lately. I try and
check out the restaurants when we're walking through.
Morel's caught my eye and I've read a few reviews. Didn't know they served breakfast. Thanks for the tip, Jilly.

    Thanks, CinnamintStick.
The Barbecue smoke pork sounds great.
I've read good things about the shrimp and grits too.
Pretty sure I'll be ordering that when we go. :licklips:

I have a Restaurant.com coupon for First Food at Palazzo and plan to use if for the Sunday brunch. I will let you know next month.

Pre-Denny's, I used to love the breakfasts at the coffee shop at Wild Wild West. For low brow taste, Arizona Charlies still serves a good, inexpensive breakfast.

I need to find a place that serves Dungenous crab eggs benedict. It's my favorite brunch item around here but don't know where to find it down there.

My favourite place has to be Cafe Ile St Louis in Paris. The french toast with bananas is to die for. Quick service (I'm usually there early before heading to a conference though), a whole pot of coffee at the table, super yummy french toast and reasonably priced. What's not to like? :)

    zamboni or anyone;

Where are the DD's located? I'm staying at the Tropicana for 5 days and they have a Starbucks which is not a favorite of mine. Anything at all around the Las Vegas Blvd and Tropicana intersection? I do walk the strip so even mid-day I might need a caffine fix.

I would interested to know of any Dunkin Donuts on or near the strip also! Ive never came across one on any of my visits, i dont like 'fancy' breakfast eateries and would much prefer good old fashioned scrambled egg and beans lol This is prob why I love the breakfast buffet at Luxor, my absolute fave breakfast on the strip, love Dennys also so that gives you an idea of how easily pleased I am :peace:

    Small portions

Does anyone know of a place that serves GOOD food in general, but specializes in smaller portions? I don't have a huge appetite anymore, but appreciate great food and am willing to pay a bit more, even if the portions are smaller, as long as I know it's going to be GOOD!

choirboy...bouchon fits the bill for the smaller, at least not obscenely large, portions, in my opinion. for me, then, even though the amount served for its price might not fit a value profile, the rapidly refilled and excellent french press coffee that they serve might be the biggest value in the place.

I think you can find a DD at the top of the escalator at TI on the way to the train to Mirage.

Tableau at Wynn; the Tableau breakfast has a great pastry basket, the white chocolate french toast, the omlette, the service and the view......haven't had a bad meal there ever and we eat there every time we go.
