I have noticed that some people have names with "myvegas" in them. Obviously, these aren't their true account used for personal use. Does this present a problem when redeeming rewards with LPs?

No. As long as they provide a legitimate email and present their MLife card when they go to redeem, it's not a problem. Technically having a second account is a violation of facebook's TOS, but they never crack down on it.

On a related subject, does your email used for MLIFE have to be the same as your Facebook's emial for myVEGAS?

Nope. The only time email comes into play is when you go to purchase a reward so that you can get your redemption code
