Just a little note for those who use Expedia for a Las Vegas travel package. In November I booked 4 travel packages on Expedia to go to Vegas in March with my 7 of my closest buddies. In the process of booking each pair of buddies at the D casino, the discount rate on Expedia went up after each trip. After booking 2 of the pairs. The rate at the D went up $120, so I booked the other 2 pair of dudes at the Golden Gate. Seems they only offer a few of these deeper discount deals per casino. Some of the guys were not happy, because they are Downtown rookies and thought this would be a ordeal, and we were not together. I told them this a less than 3 blocks of walking past the Buskers and not a issue. Well today I lucked out. I checked the rates for the D casino on Expedia and they were a little cheaper than our best deal in November. I called Expedia, and they were able to change the 2 itineraries, and now, we are all staying at the D casino. We also got a credited $60 bucks since the price to book today was better than November. I recommend if you book a package via Expedia well in advance, and a particular casino you would rather stay at has a good deal, to call and adjust your itinerary. You may save some money, or get a nices Venue for nearly the same. Note-Expedia does not charge any change fees, only Airlines and the hotels you are using can. I am guessing the Airlines all charge some kind of change fee via Expedia. In my case It was over 45 days before our departure to Mecca, and the hotel only charges fees if its within about the last 48-72 hours. So no fee for the changes, just a discount. Final thought on Expedia, Book early(best flight prices) and then watch for a better deal on a Hotel. .
