    . . . potential health risks.

I am watching the news from my room and every local news station is warning of excessive heat through Monday. Highs of 112 for the weekend.

For those of you who will be in Vegas for EDC (or just here visiting) PLEASE be careful. :peace:

Also, stay hydrated. Walking around in the very high temperature coupled with very low desert humidity, your sweat will actually evaporate as soon as it leaves your pores. You don't even realize that you are sweating, but you are. Before you know it, your suffering from heat exhaustion.

Remember, if you're thirsty, you're already having a sign of dehydration.

I expect a lot more hospitalizations this year and even deaths. Drugs + this heat is a recipe for disaster.

Keep in mind temps will be under 100 degrees F by the time most arrive at the site. And, EDC has ample cooling and hydration stations. As in past years, some of the biggest dangers lay offsite, not at EDC itself. I've attended a few times. They take care of their attendees better than you would think.
