I've seen some posting here about requesting a Deluxe Room with a view. They tell me at the Excalibur that the deluxe rooms only go as high as the 8th floor in tower 2?
If this is true, can you tell me if any of you have stayed in those deluxe rooms and had a nice view of the pool area?

Stayed there last year. I'm pretty sure we were higher than the 8th floor...I'm thinking between the 12th and 15th...we had a good view of the pool.

    Strange

That's really strange ? Twice I've been told that deluxe rooms only go to 8th floor. Hmmm do I challenge them?

They probably mean that anything higher is considered "strip view."

I know Mandalay Bay has a cut off like that.
