It should work. They now have a place for the high speed train from nowhere to arrive.

Who said $50B? Zero chance a project of that magnitude is that cheap. 39 hotels? An airport? An Arena? A studio for tv?

That would be a small city... They'd suck up half that budget on infrastructure alone.

I like the fact they are going to build this on bureau of land management land. Their email address on the press release is a gmail address. The should have lowered the number of casinos. 39 is too many for any joke. Whoever put this prank together did a pretty poor job.

this was either released on the Russian equivalent of April 1st or it is a scam project to get 50,000 Russian, Indian, and Asian "investors" to put up $1 million each to gain US Citizenship and then they can start the project and let it rot in the desert while 50K new residents come into the USA

This sounds like someone has too much time on their hands to come up with this nonsense!

I don't think this will go anywhere. I have a feeling this will be the first and last we ever hear of this ever again. The website will probably be there until something expires and then fade into the desert winds.

At least the website has that Windows 95 throwback look going for it. That look is coming back, right?
