    Has anyone taken the tour?
    Is there a shuttle?
    Worthwhile?
    How much free chocolate?
    Any discounted prices?

Has anyone taken the tour? I did
Is there a shuttle? Don't know
Worthwhile? Not really. It's brief. I went during Christmas, so there were at least cool lights to see, too.
How much free chocolate? Not much
Any discounted prices? Not that I noticed

Its lame! The cactus garden is pretty cool. You get one piece of candy and the prices are outrageous (M&Ms are like $8.50/lb)

    Yes

For a short trip I would say don't do it. For a long trip and you want to do some non strip activities, maybe if you enjoy factory tours. It is a short tour where you can overlook the factory and then one piece of candy when you get into store. Prices are high as noted. I did spend about a half hour walking around the cactus garden but again not everyone would enjoy that.

Large tours do make a stop there but I don't know of any shuttles.

It's an okay spot to visit if you're on your way to (or coming back from) another destination. It certainly isn't worth planning your day around. The chocolate fountain at Jean-Phillipe's in Bellagio are more of a chocoholic viewing experience than seeing a mid-sized food processing plant through the windows. As for the store, the M&M items cost exactly the same as the M&M store on the strip. The Ethel M. chocolates are premium chocolate and you pay premium prices.

As a chocolate lover, I actually found the cactus garden to be more interesting.

We did it last May. Yes, it is short and their chocolates are expensive. My cousin lived out there for a few years and told me she went often in December because she loved their lights. We like to go out for a drive during the day just to look around the city ( we hope to retire there one day)...a special trip just for this place...no, not worth it.

I took one and went by city bus. It took a while and since I take "long visits" usually i was glad I did it.

Thanks. Will cross it off the list unless included with some other primary tour where it is a brief stop.
