I visited the encore players club saturday night and this place was a disappointment. This space is basically a normal gaming area with a couple couches, a pool table, and a railing around the whole thing. It is kind of odd because of the railing around you aren't positive if you are allowed to come in or not. I got there about midnight and the DJ was already finished for the evening. The dealers in this area are regular Wynn dealers, and not new party pit dealers. I was in encore earlier in the day and was asking each time I was at a table about the Encore Players Club and nobody had any idea. It seems that everyone is in the dark. While inside I was asking about the Dj, football, tables, etc and nobody knew. They said this was their soft opening and they haven't finalized the details. I joked that isn't this when you practice these things and they seemed to be a bit annoyed that everything isn't up and running.

I can't understand why they dropped this turd right in the middle of what was the nicest casino floor on the Strip. :(

Maybe because that "nicest casino floor" wasn't generating as much money as they wanted?

It just seems as if it does not fit in with any scheme that Wynn might've had in mind when he built the place. It just seems so out of place.

But times have changed since the place was built, and gambling revenues have declined, so it is not surprising that he is experimenting with new concepts to try to boost gaming revenues. It may work, it may not.

Stoned or not, I wouldn't kick her out for eating crackers in the bed.
