there are none better than Big Elvis. I don't know what the new location is like, but from a talent point of view, BE is number 1; from a nice guy point of view, BE is number 1; throw in a great personal story and some talented buddies who do a song or two, and you have the best free show in LV.

    cheers

I'd have to suggest 2 Shows...
Big Elvis at Harrah's (is Pete's Show up 'n running yet ???)
and The Legends In Concert Show...reason...these are two
totally different Elvis images. Pete's is great, pre recorded music,
but a unique novelty. The Elvis portion of Legends is a bit closer
to that 'Vegas feel' Elvis plus, you get to enjoy the other impersonaters
    in the Show as well.
Once apon a time, I would have said see Trent Carlini. These days, his
little lounge Show in Shimmer Cabaret is but a hint of what he can do
with a full band (it's all pre recorded music) and it just doesn't cut it any
more for me. He did have a great Show years ago...

Pete's Show - Big Elvis is up and running at Harrah's.
You have to get a seat in the bar to see him, as his chair is to the back of the center bar opening.

BIG ELVIS AND HE IS PLAYING AT HARRAH'S.

This is a must see show and it is FREE!!!!

I was lucky enough to see Elvis twice in person and I tell you, Big Elvis sounds 100% like the King.

It is rumored that the real Elvis is Big Elvis' biological dad. I read that, I think in an article that the LVRJ did on Big Elvis a couple years ago. From his show, it could be true, who knows?

Anyway, it is a rocking good time.

    Have Fun...

Saw BE last Monday. His voice is as good as ever. He was having a boatload of technical problems with his sound man and equipment. He would announce a song then either nothing happend or a different song came up. He adlibed through the whole thing and it was great fun not knowing what was going to happen next.

As mentioned before his chair is exactly opposite the bar and up against a window opening to the casino. I found it fascinating watching people walking by and hearing that voice stopping dead in their tracks to poke their heads in the door to see if it was the "real" deal.

An all around fun show and free. Can't beat it.

Okay, I will suffer the slings and arrows from making this comment. Big Elvis is good but not great. Good because he does have a decent Elvis voice, good because it is free. Good because (not sure about now) he had a kind of freak-show vibe with his wife doing stripper dances and the cast of regulars who stopped by. Great, no way. If you want to see a very good impersonator, go to Legends. In fact, almost all of the impersonators are as good as Big Elvis, or better. I have yet to see a show that was subpar to Big E in any showroom. That includes the one they had at the Fitz, the old Plaza impersonator show, one years ago at Sands and two different Legend’s performers.
However! The little Asian guy who dressed like Elvis and sang Elvis karaoke at Ellis Island was/is worse.

I enjoy when Pete Vallee sings. But he talks too damn much in his show (at least the few that I've seen over the years). Guess that's the price you pay for "free".
