I was looking at the coupons in the 2015 American Casino Guide. They no longer have any coupons for the El Cortez. They have always been in the ACG. Anybody know why they no longer are. I guess, nothing stays the same but I'll miss them.

the flame restaurant closed. They're also trying to have more local-oriented promotions.

I can't say for sure but you also have to remember that EC management this year also instituted their "resort fee" policy. That might indicate a tightening up of "deals"; like the airlines they want to give specials to the spenders and regulars but reduce the specials in places like ACG.

Best deal there we could find in October at ElCo is "senior Wednesday." If you are over 50 (or maybe 55? Their website probably says), dinner entrees are half price in the cafe. Foods quite decent and the promotion draws a crowd.
