We are going to take a day trip to Laughlin from Vegas this Saturday, any place you recommend to eat on the way down or while there? We will end the day at Avri to see some boxing. Thanks.

Don't think there's anything on the way worth stopping at. There are a few nice restaurants at the Avi. The seafood buffet draws a crowd, although I'm not sure if it's offered on Saturday.

Hi landsburger' if you like a good burger there's a small casino in Laughlin called the Regency. Its between the Aquarius and Edgewater casinos.

Very good burger and all day happy hour. Small place not a chain mostly locals.

Give it a try you like it.

Thanks for the tip. Yeah, the Regency is a funny story. From what I understand they wouldn't sell out during the Laughlin boom years. They always had a prime rib special on their marquee (guessing they still do). It's this little place tucked between the big resorts. I'm sure it has it's old timers (which is most of Laughlin now).

The Regency, with a good burger, looks just like our king of place. The trip to Laughlin is part of our traditional tour of dives so it will fit in perfectly!
