Hi, gonna be in Vegas for a friends B-day early Nov. I'll be staying off the strip before hand but am looking for a nice B-day room on Strip. I did this last year and stayed at Cosmo Wraparound Fountain View and that was awesome.

Thing is this time around i'd like to get a late check-out (more important than early check-in). I've noticed 2 properties that have this option on line, MGM and MB. MGM charges I think $20 each for both check-in/out and MB I think $30 check-in and $50 check out. Both on lesser grade rooms, I believe the best room MGM offers this on is the New Grand Executive Suite.

Anyways, I'd like to get a really nice room, say a Vista Suite at MB or a Skyline Suite at MGM. Has anyone had any experience with early/late check-in/out on the nicer Suites ... is it even possible?

    TIA

First off, check in and check out are two totally independent issues. Not tied together.

If rooms are available, they will usually check you in. All depends on how sold out or undersold hotel was the night before, and if your type room is available.

As to time for either, how early and how late are you talking? Dates/days of week?

Personally, if we have a very late flight, then we just get the room for another night. Then again, that decision is tied to situation. We generally do not pay for rooms, so depending on the comp... and, when we pay it is way less cost that a fancy suite.
