On my MLife offers I can take a behind the scene tour of Aria for $5000.01.

Not even remotely thinking of doing it for 5k but.....
Why would they add on the extra penny? Seems weird.

Why not make it an even $5000...instead it's $5000.01?

Nothing happens out there without a reason behind it. Any ideas why the penny has been added to the price?

    Just wonderin'

it's the good luck coin you toss into the water fountain at the end to wish yourself luck on winning back the 5k.

I think I'd be more interested to see what they actually show you behind the scenes that would be worth that kind of money.

What are they going to show you? Kitchens, coolers, backstage at the soon to close Zarkana? Unless it included chef's tables at the better restaurants and a couple bottles of really fine wine, I don't know how it would be worth $5k, let alone $5000.01.

Perhaps they think it is "only for Noir". Everyone else is not able to accrue more than $5000 in express comps. Doubtful anyone has ever redeemed this, anyone interested in this who has 5k in ECs could get this without redeeming anything.

You know...$5K...to the great majority of us, that's an incredible amount of money for a guided tour (unless 'behind the scene' is a euphemism for something...:ssst: ). However, if you're one of those guys who wheels their private jet to a halt at McCarran, maybe not so much.

If you want a behind the scenes tour, try switching out a craps dice. And it includes a "cab ride" in a police car to downtown!

Notice I did not say it was cheaper. Or free. Just a different way of getting the tour.
