In june my wife and I will be going to see absinthe at Caesars. Since this is my wifes first time going to vegas with me it will also be my first show in Vegas. My question is can you bring drinks into the show with you or do you have to buy them while there. Reason being we are having dinner at Joes rock crab and if I am able to wouldn't mind getting a Fat Tuesdays 190 octane after dinner then bringing whats left to the show.

    Thanks for any help

You gotta buy them there. They have a bar inside and cocktail waitresses working the floor. They have a house drink they try to sell you, some sort of sweet frilly drink w absinthe in it.

I have never had trouble bringing an "outside" drink into a Vegas show.

The only rule I am aware of, is that the drink must be in a plastic cup. So, if you have a drink in a glass from somewhere else in the casino, they will have you pour it into a plastic cup.

    My experience is...some let ya/some don't.
I was able to take in my water to ABSINTHE...but didn't notice one way or the other
if other folks were taking in drinks.

GO FOR IT, worst that can happen is you'll dump it before entering.
One thing I can tell ya for sure...THERE ARE NO BATHROOMS IN THE TENT.
What goes in, is gonna wanna come out and you'll need to 'wiggle' your way out of
the tent, walk across the plaza to the PUBLIC RESTROOMS located in the building
close to the Strip. You'll miss a good bit of one of the routines but hey...do what ya gotta do.
