If anyone has eaten here, what was your experience- service, food quality, wine selection?

    Thanks in advance,
    Kelly

I've been for lunch. When I was there it was empty and very Americanized Chinese food. I would go back, but would not recommend if I was looking for a high caliber traditional meal. The food I had was good, the service was pretty mediocre, but I was sitting at the bar.

We used our MyVegas $50 voucher there in December for lunch, there were two of us. It was not busy. 5 tables of customers at 1:00 on a Monday.

We really enjoyed it, and would go back.

We both had beer, they had a nice IPA on draft. They didn't have an extensive wine list, and I can't remember what was on it, sorry.

They had a lunch menu that had a few soups and dishes on it. However, we ordered off of the main menu. We each had wonton soup to start. It was very good. It was a large serving, and had plenty of pork, wontons, and bok choy. It was very filling.

We then shared some lemon chicken and fried rice. We do not enjoy greasy Chinese food, and tends to be our concern with this cuisine. This was not greasy, at all. The lemon sauce was perfectly done, not sweet, and just enough tartness. The pork fried rice was delicious, we really enjoyed the salted pork they used, both in the soup and rice dish. It was a meal in itself.
We were not able to finish the chicken and rice, the servings were both more than enough for two people.

The service was great, regular visits to the table, but not too many, friendly, and knowledgeable wait staff! The $50 was easy to use, it was put on my Mlife card. The difference was $14 that we paid, and then we left a generous gratuity.

We would definitely return to try some other things on the menu.

    I hope that this helps.

I agree with Skadoo's review, except I have been a bit luckier with the service sitting at the bar. It's not fine dining, but it is solid food

Thank you all for your prompt responses! That's the great thing about this board - no matter the question, there is someone here who has an answer :)

Just an aside, does this restaurant still have people in anime costumes at night? I remember them doing that a few years back, but wasn't sure how long that lasted

I was there in December, staying at the MC for eight nights. Ate there twice. No anime.

Food was expensive and not the best ever. Sushi was disappointing and I wouldn't recommend it. Regular Chinese is OK but Ping Pang Pong at Gold Coast or Number 9 Noodle House at Caesar's are way better both in food and price.

I am not Asian but have traveled there extensively so I echo the complaints about "Chinese-American" food.

I went here with a few friends a year ago and didn't think the food was that good. On a scale of 1-10, I would rate the food being a 6. Probably will never go back there since it's typical Chinese-American food like others mentioned. I guess it doesn't help that I went there with friends who were born/raised in China and knew of better places in town..

For MC, I'd rather go to The Pub. If I want Asian, I'd go to Lemongrass at Aria since it's not too far away and both casinos are connected.

Was just there in Dec. Thought for dinner it was good, food tasty, service very good, didn't think it was expensive for what you get. Cindy, our server was terrific, helped us in sharing dishes and just a joy.

I've never been but they have a foursquare special. If you checkin you get a free California roll with any check over $20. Just create a bullshit account if you want and show the screen to your waiter.

One other question - can one use MLife comps at Dragon Noodle? If not, we'll probably end up eating at Kumi or rm Seafood at Mandalay Bay instead.

Thanks again for all the prompt, helpful responses!

My wife and I used a MyVegas voucher at the sushi bar here last August and really enjoyed it. On most Sundays, they offer 50% off sushi from like 2:00-10:00 pm. Check their twitter page (@dragonnoodlelv) for offers. We were able to use both together so our $50 voucher got us far more value than $50 in food/drinks.

I was able to use ECs, but I don't think you can compare this place to Kumi at all, Kelly!!
