Downtown Trying to be Just Like the Strip!

    I was staying there the week the Mob Museum opened, and there was an awful murder right out front there as well. The whole area was taped off as a crime scene.

    There was a similar occurrence in North Las Vegas recently. By your logic, that city also wants to be like The Strip. And, what about the shootings in Henderson and Summerlin?

    There was a shooting in Salt Lake City yesterday. We must be getting casinos any day now. I'm looking forward to it.

    The point is bad things can and do happen in places where human beings gather. To say, "Just Like the Strip!" is a ridiculous statement when the same events happen on a regular basis elsewhere.

    Something to consider: There were documented shootings and murders in Downtown Las Vegas before The Strip ever existed.
