The wife and I will be in town next weekend and plan on being downtown all day/night on April 12th. So far, it seems that Mike Hammer is the show I am leaning to. Any suggestions as to which show we should see? I know of the free bands at night on the Freemont stages, but we like the production/comedy shows. Any suggestions?

Gordie Brown was fun. He's at the Nugget and you can usually get a show/buffet combo deal.

Both Mike Hammer and Gordie Brown are well worth the time and money. I've also heard good things about Phat Pack at Plaza, despite their pretty crummy video commercial that was posted here previously. Have heard that the Scintas are coming to The D this month and have always been curious to see them.

Raack n Roll is at The D. I'll be seeing it during my trip in early June.
