I know this has been asked before, but here goes nothing. We are taking my son (who just turned 21), and his friend to Vegas. We will be on the strip for three nights, and then five downtown. My question is, where can the boys go downtown where there is a younger crowd, as in nightclub or bar? We will be there from a Thursday to Tuesday, so we will be downtown during the weekend. I know they could go to the strip, but I would like them to enjoy downtown as much as we do. Thanks in advance.

There is gold Diggers in the Nugget and on East Fremont there are a number of hip bars. They just need to stroll on down and see which ones they like

The long bar at The D. Be sure to send them to see the BJ dealers at GG, they may not want to come home!! Have fun.

East Fremont always seem to run a little younger... no casinos but plenty of bars!
... and, what Mike said ^... "theD" at night... loud, young, dark... almost a nightclub atmosphere in there...

.. as for the GG dealers? Just tell them that I expect them to be sure the girls are left unspoiled until I get there in June!

If you are going east on Fremont towards the El Cortez you will find Insert Coins on the left of the street between the end of the canopy and the El Cortez. This is a club where they can drink and play video games. On the corner of 3rd and Ogden you will find Pizza Rock which they might also like.

That sounds cool, we have a place here in Columbus called 16 bit, where you play old video games for free as long as you're there to drink.

Insert Coins does have a cover charge on Fri & Sat night, or they did a year ago.

Commonwealth has a good happy hour (also part of Fremont East).
Surprisingly I often see young guys at the bar in MSS.

The Plaza just opened a 'club' in their showroom. They were handing out free entry tix when I was there a few weeks ago. I'm not in my 20's so I didn't explore :)

+1 for GG and the D.

I have to say you need to let them explore the strip on the weekend. I am 49 & I find downtown to be little more than a day trip for me--nothing more to do beyond drinking & gambling....just mo...

It's up to them where they want to go. They are doing a VIP club crawl at some point. I don't really think they are really into nightclubs, but everyone should experience the craziness of those places.
