If you would like to research downtown, this site is an excellent tool. Looking at the Mint other day and came across this entry - - "The casino had 300 slot machines, a Keno game and other table games. There were two dining areas, two bars, a gift shop, a tobacco shop, and a barbershop. The manager of the Mint was Sam Boyd, who would go on in later years to found Boyd Gaming. " Can search by name of address. Good stuff for history buffs http://over50vegas.com/Las_Vegas_History_.html
Thanks for sharing this franknic! I love reading about historical vegas, and many books and sites do not have details about individual places like this website does. Another time suck for me :evillaugh
