The pool has been open a month now. It's a shallow pool. No smoking on the grass or dining area. It feels warm for this weather so I am guessing it is heated. A room key is needed to get past the Sentry.

The gym is only a small room with several machines. Both pool and gym are on the 3rd floor.

It will be interesting to see what 'vibe' the pool area goes for.

    Thanks for posting the photos.
I've been interested in seeing the pool.
    Nice area -
but wish the pool was a bit larger.
    In the summer -
that looks like it'll be a slick of sunscreen oil !:evillaugh
with 10 people sitting in it.

Thanks for posting those. I did double book there to check out a room, but forgot to look at the pool area.

Thanks for posting the photos. I have an upcoming reservation there and was curious about the pool. The pool area looks well thought-out, rather than an afterthought. I think the Grand appears to be a great addition to the downtown options.

Thanks for the pics. I can foresee the DTG having pool parties like the ones on the strip. Looks like the pool area is big enough to host one. The exercise room is so-so but at least they made an effort to create one.

    thanks,

i had asked someone in another post for some pics (was it you?? if so thanks!) of the excersize room...

small but yes not horrible, I would just expect it always hard to get on a cardio machine, never mind do some weight training with such limited equipment...
