If you happen to see the craps pit can you report on the table minimums and the odds offered? Thanks!

I really considered booking a room, but was worried that the lines would long and there would be alot of kinks to work out. So, I will just walk over to the place a couple different days, October 27th 28th and 29th. I leave on the 30th.

I just checked their website and they have rooms available for the 27th, 28th, and 29th when I will be in town. Do yall believe it will be complete pandamonium trying check in? I dont want to wait online for an hour just to check into my room. Otherwise, i wouldnt mind trying the place out as the first guest in the room of the new Lady Luck!

I just talked to someone at the Grand, they are answering phones now. I asked if the casino would be open Sunday morning, she had to check with someone and then came back and said yes.

She said they have valet only parking only. If you wanted to self park you could use the Birch St parking garage at Ogden and 3rd and she seemed somewhat sure you could get your ticket validated. End result it seems, they don't have their own parking garage, valet only. Not sure where your car goes.

You may have some problems because the Life is Beautiful festival is just down the street that weekend and it draws a big crowd for Sat night.

I'm staying there Thu night and am hoping all goes well. Good luck Huddler!

It looks really nice and the prices aren't bad at all. Go for it! I'll be in town for the "grand" opening on Nov 12 and plan to be there.

    You're welcome!
Don't really think it's going to be a zoo, at least until the "official" grand opening on 11-12-13. I'll be there Monday or Tuesday next week depending on what day and how early I get into town.

I wonder if they're giving any free play for new members of player's club.

1st and last visit to Lady Luck was December 2005. It is hard to believe it has been 8 years.
The old lady was on her last leg back then and did not deserve a repeat visit.

After seeing a few photos of the new place, I can't wait to visit the Downtown Grand during our December trip.

I still have my old Lady Luck coffee cup....think I will need to use it before I travel there in a few days. I will take some pics for everyone to see.

Just got back from downtown Vegas. I stayed at the Fremont and could see the Grand from our window (last room at the end of the hall, floor ten, window faces to the north). They filled the pool while we were there, and walking around the joint and peeking in, this place looks very cool. I cant wait to see it open.
