Yikes. One comp'ed stay there back in September for 2 nights and just received an offer covering 3 months. Each month, 2 comp'ed night (suite) $100 FP and $60 dining credit. This is for Jan, Feb and March. I gotta say, damn nice of them. Didn't think I gave them that much play. Thought place was okay but rather dead at times and not real fond of the casino. Heading back in April. IF they offer something like this for that month, I might have to consider. The 'brochure' landed in mail, aside from this offer, also speaks to some monthly slot point finals in December 2016 (this one kinda confusing), $10K (over course of year?), $100 and $500 gift card give away, hourly starting 1/8> Free play Monday's. Mid-week multiplies. Grand seniors, Tuesdays in January. Good lord. Looks like the big promo push.
Royal, hard to say. I don't keep good track of that. I can say my play (VP only) was over two days and nights but spend at least 1/2 time elsewhere on Fremont street. While at Grand, good play in but I didn't pound either for many hours on end. Sorry, can't be of more help. I wanted to post offer because it surprised me (greatly) after my brief stay. Darn generous I thought. I also think they might be getting desperate....
I played pretty minimal with them a few weeks ago - mostly because I kept losing and losing... but I emailed the host who set me up a thank you and she just told me to email her whenever I wanted to go back. Micro rolling compared to most. They have been super accommodating which is very nice, but I will be hard pressed to stay when the slot options are very limited (not to mention extremely tight when I went, but I know your YMMV there) and I felt that the rooms were just very okay. I upgraded to the premium for $20/day to get a prime spot and early checkin in the casino tower facing east away from Hogs and Heifers. The shower simply sucks, and you can hear noise from doors and other rooms very easy. In the end I am 50/50 on the place. If they had another casino bar (maybe where the shaved ice place was and failed?) and maybe another restaurant option...and brought in some better slot options...I would reconsider. Personally I found the Premium room upgrade NOT worth it. The deluxe room seemed plenty fine when I peeked in. A suite might be nice though!
Royal I got the same offer from my play. This was right as they switched over and I made their new tier level. So I think I put through around $5K coin in for 24 hours.
