I've heard plenty about the poor pay tables for VP at DTG, but was wondering about their blackjack. Are they 3:2? Decks? Limits?

We always gravitate to the El for blackjack, which is hard to beat.

In November, when I was there, their shoe games were 3:2, DAS, Hit S17, and I believe late surrender. Their pitch games, under $25, were 6:5.

Thanks! Wonder also if they have continuous shuffle machines.

I think they had automatic shufflers on their shoe games, but I could be mistaken. :peace:

Mike - is the $25 DD a 3:2 with DAS?
Also, what was the minimum for that shoe game? DAS with LS is not bad, assuming a $5 or $10 min.

Seems like forever from now, but the flights are booked, so it counts!

Midweek, mid-December, the shoe game minimum was $5. This was at about 5:00 pm, so I suppose it might have gone up later in the evening, but the casino was very quiet so I doubt it. I don't believe it was a continuous shuffle machine.

Good rules, friendly dealer, comfortable seats, good drink service. I liked the place a lot. It's really not that far from Fremont Street, and is worth a visit. The VP is bad, to be sure.

Yes, the DD, with 3:2 and DAS was $25 in November.

The shoe game was $5 during the daytime during the week.

Have fun and let us know how you did. :peace:
