This is the place for downtown pizza. I have yet to try Hash House, which I hear is also good. But I've tried most others DT and this one is hands down the winner for me so far.

    Short version: try it.

Long version with details about both pizza and server, here:

I've dined at Pizza Rock four times and will continue to return. Great food, excellent service and a healthy vibe.

One warning - as the night goes on the volume of the music climbs to a point where it becomes difficult to have a conversation at the table. Now, it's good music and I liked it, but if you want to sit and visit it gets tough to do so.

    Thanks for the report.

I have eaten at Pop Up Pizza a half-dozen times & liked it very much.

But, I think that I need to branch out & try some others DT.

Right across from the new Downtown Grand. I ate there on Monday, it was good. A word of advice, the best deal is to just get from the walk up window and sit outside. You cannot purchase by the slice once inside. We sat inside so we had to order a whole pie. It was way too much for just the two of us.

Good pizza though. $16 was the lowest priced pie. That was for just a traditional pepperoni.

Yeah walkup is most convenient also no need to wait for a whole pie to bake either
