I've tried to research this but, not much discussion.
I received corporate offer from Mandalay Bay.
3 comp nights in a suite
    $600 in resort credits
    $350 in free slot play
    VIP Check in
Limo to and from the airport

I emailed back and advised that I am bringing parents and would need another room & 5 nights. He responded that I have 3 options...
5 nights comp in a 2 bed suite at THE HOTEL
    $600 in dining
    $350 in free slot play
    VIP and limo
    OR
5 nights comp in a 2 bedroom suite at Mandalay Bay -
    $0 in dining
    $350 in free slot play
    VIP and Limo
    OR
    3 nights comp/2 nights pay in a 2 bedroom suite ($805 total)
    $600 in dining
    $350 in freeplay
    VIP and limo

I chose...5 nights comp in a 2 bedroom suite at Mandalay Bay -
    $0 in dining
    $350 in free slot play
    VIP and Limo

I saw on Mlife site that I had an offer from Luxor for 5 nights, $450fp & $200food. I, also, booked that. :ssst:

Anyone else done this? Have you encountered a problem? Is there a reason this is "discouraged"? :nono:

You can book the Luxor offer, if you have at least 72 hours between your hosts offer and the mlife offer.

If it's the same account then one offer will override the other.

It was not a "host", it was the Marketing Dept that I booked the original offer with. THat was 2-3 weeks ago.

You mean...If booked within 72 hrs?

    Thanks for the help!

Just me, but looking over your options, I think I would've gone with #1.

Heard nothing but good things about The Hotel. So 5 nights comped in a 2 bedroom suite, $600 dining credit, along with $350 gambling credit, and VIP/limo........what's not to like about that?

It was not a two BEDROOM suite...it was a two BED suite. There is a LARGE difference in space. I agree, I love TheHotel.

Since both comps are with the same hotel group (Mlife/MGM), you would need at least 72 hours between using each comp. You would not be able to check into both rooms.
