Usually, I am in bed at 10pm with the TV/iPad off at 11pm. I wake up around 6am to feed our two cats, that are jumping on my chest, or meowing non-stop. Somehow my wife is able to sleep through this morning ritual. LOL During the night I usually wake up a number of times, and sometimes I turn on the iPad. However in Vegas we're up until 1 or 2am, and I am usually ready to rise at 5 or 6 am......never fails. I get up, shower, change, and head out for coffee and a little gaming, while my wife snoozes. When I return an hour or two later she is almost ready to roll. We head out for fun packed day which usually starts with a yummy buffet. I'm curious if others on the VMB maintain their usually routine, or adjust to the Vegas lifestyle? Thanks.

I get little to no sleep in Vegas. up till 10am the next day and try to sleep with no luck most of the time. I have to come home and plan to have nothing the first day back so I can sleep the 24 hours to catch up on sleep.

I am a beer replacement specialist by trade, so I am up at home til 4 or 5 am anyway. Vegas time doesn't matter to me. I'm actually right in my wheelhouse.

No sleep in vegas for me in vegas. Routine is thrown out the door. As a matter of a fact no sleep the night before I go either. Usually miss coffee In the morning due to too early tee times. Manage to throw down some bacon in the early morning that friends order up but that's about it. Also constipated as soon as I land in the desert! Lol. Tmi I know. Need 2-days to recover every time for all issues.

If I slept every night the way I do in Vegas, I'd have keeled over and died long before I was old enough to go to Vegas.

We only have a 3 hour time difference, gotta love the folks that deal with much more coming from outside the USA..
I guess I adjust to LV time cause I feel it coming home after a week..Get back home at 8pm and end up staying up all night...
I always schedule a day of timezone recovery before going back to work..
Have a nice trip Miragelvr just noticed your timer !

Not too much- the three hour time difference plays into the equation, but we really don't stay out any later or get up any earlier whilst in Lost Wages.

Thanks, jamesxnj. Do you still live in Florida? My wife and I were raised in Palm Beach County, went to college in Tallahassee, and lived in Miami, Orlando and Coral Springs. In two years when our son is out of college we're retuning to Florida, most likely Vero Beach...love the lifestyle.

The 8hr time difference plays havoc with my sleeping patterns. At home I'm usually awake late (anytime between midnight and 4am) and wake up around 10am. In Vegas by the time we land it's about 3pm Vegas time but 11pm at home so we try to stay awake as late as possible. I think we managed til about 10pm (6am UK) so we'd been awake for 24hrs but then we only slept for 5 hours and was wide awake at 4am (and STARVING!)

We were there for 8 days so we stayed up til about 1am and was waking at around 6am.

My OH needed naps in the day but I was ok. I work nights so I'm used to being awake for long periods and having odd sleeping patterns.

When we got home I was an absolute mess though. No sleep on the plane and then a long drive home I couldn't keep my eyes open!

I used to have a good Vegas routine. The last few trips it escaped me. I'll make an effort to get it back.

A beer replacement specialist? I think I might be one of those too. I replace beer with urine on a fairly routine schedule!

I'm a weird Vegas enthusiast. I sleep as much there as I do at home. That said, I typically go to bed at 1am and out of the room by 7am the next morning. I prefer morning and day gambling because of fewer people and much less cigarette smoke.

In my real life, I am on CST. I am up at 4:30a and in bed by 10:30p.
In my Vegas life, I am on PST. I am up at 5:00a and in bed by 12:00m.

Point is, I do not break my sleep pattern when in Vegas. I don't like that groggy feeling when I get home like I "overdid" it.

In Vegas I pretty much don't sleep... This last trip I stayed for a week and told myself I was going to try and maintain a normal sleep scheduled but epically failed and slept usually from 7am-10am and right back at it with sugar free red bulls powering me thru

I should mention what my routine was. Up around 7, mid afternoon toddler nap 1 to 3 hours, nighttime sleep whenever to around 7. Roughly 6 to 9 hours of sleep broken up. I liked that routine and miss it.

    Hey Now!
pretty much keep EC time also.
Up around 4:30 a.m. bed by 11 p.m. in Vegas.
Non-smoker, so it's much easier to breath.
Non-drinker too, so before sunrise is great drunk watching time.
