Does the Golden Gate still have $5 tables in the evenings?

They did the second week of November. It was during the week, not weekend.

Yes. I was there last week and played there three different evenings (including a Friday evening) and always found a $5 table.

Some of them, especially on the weekends, will get bumped up to $10 or more, but I always found at least 2 tables that were $5 minimum. Blackjacks there pay the full 3:2 as well, and you can't beat the dancing girls as side entertainment. No complaints about the drink service, either.

    A+ review from me.

It can be hit or miss. I have been there at times when both craps tables are at $10 and almost all the BJ is at $10 or more. I think there usually is at least one BJ at $5 though, and some of the other carnival type games are usually at 5 as well. Honestly just because I love the vibe there so much I can usually live with the $10 minimums. Although I much prefer a $5 craps table.

Echo all comments above. You can usually find a $5 table any time of day or night at GG, but if it's a busy weekend (NYE, special event, etc) they may all be $10. I've never been in there when there wasn't at least two $5 tables.
Can't wait to be back at GG!

We play craps almost exclusively there and they almost always have a $5 table early in the evening and will maintain one as long as it's not crowded. If it gets crowded, they will bump both tables to $10, but if you're on it when it is $5, they will always let you stay at $5.

Sweet, thanks for the replies. We'll be there in a couple weeks and really like the vibe, the dancing girls, etc. Some of us only play $5 though so I was just curious if they'd be ok or they'd have to pay for their drinks and watch the girls from the sidelines while we gamble. :D
