I've got some perforated paperboard strategy cards that came with The Video Poker Edge book, but I'd prefer to have plastic or laminated ones.

Does anyone know if the Gambler's General Store sells them? I see on their website that they have a plethora of books, but no mention of strategy cards for either table games or VP.

Is there another place in town to buy them?

Thanks in advance for any information.

I know I've seen them in the Rio Gift shop and others just around the check-out counter..Seems like a common item like souvenier dice and lighters..You should have no problem finding one.

Go to Wizard of odds, find the strategies you want, TAKE A PICTURE WITH YOUR PHONE. Always with you, you can zoom in!

Also take a picture of the various pay table, payouts for the various games you play!

I think LasVegasAdvisor.com has them on their website, but you could just laminate the ones you have.

Yes, it does. There's a pretty complete selection of the Dancer/Daily cards for the different games on the counter in the middle of the store. There might be some from other publishers as well.
Most casino gift shops sell generic, credit card sized, plastic strategy cards for VP, and most other casino games.

You can find them in the casino gift shops on The Strip and Downtown and most of the souvenir shops will also sell them as well. At the casino gift shops they are usually single cards and kept up at the cash register, at the souvenir shops I've seen ones that are packages of strategy cards for a few different variations of VP.

I entered them in to the notepad program on my phone years ago for the games I am most likely to play.

If you have some and just want them laminated you can do that at a Staples or Kinko's for $2-3

Most casinos won't let you keep your phone on the table. So, that's kind of busted

Yeah, I'd just print them out, and take them somewhere to laminate them. Or, up to your work, and "test" theirs

Or, look on eBay, and see what they're going for. Can't be too much.

They were actually talking about Video Poker, but using a smartphone for strategy advice is still illegal even at VP. But I've never heard anyone prosecuted over it before.

As far as VP strategy cards, I've seen them in casino gift shops at times. Never been to the gambler's general store, but I'd be shocked if they didn't sell them.

Here's a link to a set of Strategy Cards I bought from Amazon. There are six in this set for most of the typical conditions you will find -

1 Deck, Dealer Stands on All 17s
1 Deck, Dealer Hits Soft 17
2 Decks, Dealer Stands on All 17s
2 Decks, Dealer Hits Soft 17
4/6/8 Decks, Dealer Stands on All 17s
4/6/8 Decks, Dealer Hits Soft 17

A little pricey at $15 but almost every casino will let you put a strategy card on the table in front of you - not so much referring to your phone.

EDIT - OOPS - I misread the original title that cards were needed for VP and not Blackjack. My mistake. These are great cards for BJ though.....

It does look like a cool place. I will definitely check it out later this week.

$1300 is a lot of money, butt the Crazy Girls blackjack table they're showing on their website is pretty cool.

    AND.....

The Gambler's Book Club is now located there as well, so their inventory of books is even more extensive. (I was just in there last week.)

    PLUS...

They've put in a café/deli on the premises as well.

It's a great place to visit, so stop in. This place and the GBC have always been "must sees" every time I visit Las Vegas, so life's better than ever, now! (Less time driving and more time to gamble!)

They have food now? Well I guess that's a good enough reason to go back again :)
