Which is better...or does it matter???? .....to play at one CET casino for several hours.......OR play at several different CET casinos for short periods of time? Does it matter for your daily average? Thank you......

Basically the right answer. However if you are looking for future 'offers' or comped rooms, they will be 'heavier' at the casino you play the most at. Example - my 3 primary play spots are Flamingo, Paris & Harrahs 3rd. In March I played quite heavy at Paris for a longer period of time as I could get on the Wicked Winnings game there in the morning. Now my birthday offer for $100 Food has shifted from Flamingo (normal) to Paris. Room comps remain basically the same at all properties for normal 'non-offer' types among the properties.

Another way to look at is at Caesars - I used to spend several hours there each trip & could get bottom 3 levels of room comped. It is just not my fav place to play because it is so dang BIG. So I really cut back - maybe one stop per trip, some none. Now I am lucky if I can get a couple of weeknights comped in the lowest level room.

So for mid-level props it will be pretty even across the board no matter where you play at with just minor variances (Harrahs, Ballys, Flamingo & sometimes Paris. If you want the higher end props such as Caesars & PH & possibly Paris you need to concentrate some amount of play there.

If you ONLY play at IP however, you may encounter comps for only IP as that is the lowest tier.

On my last trip 95% of my CET play was at Ballys. On my comp calendar I have weekdays at IP/Ballys/Rio/Flamingo/Harrahs pretty much all year. Some Paris/PH here and there and maybe 3 different weeks at Ceasars.

I stayed one night at Flamingo in March, and dropped a bundle there. I also played a bit at Harrahs and Bally's. My offers for each casino are mostly the same, I can get 5 free nights anywhere. But I did get a 2 night comp and $550 in free play, only available at Flamingo. I imagine if I had spread that play out equally between the three, I wouldn't have gotten that.

How much is a "bundle"? I'm heading down later this month and am going to get a players card for the first time and will be gambling mostly at Flamingo, so curious whether I can possibly expect some comped rooms some day.

I agree that they will steer offers towards the hotels you play more in. But if your ADT isn't what they are looking for, it won't matter how much time you spend at CP and to a lesser extent Paris and PH. If you match well to the lower tier hotels, then they will steer you to the one you seem to show a preference for.

I got there around 12:30 p.m. on a Sunday, checked out before 10:00 a.m. the next day, and gave them about 2K in that time period.

So, I think if you give them enough play anywhere you can get free rooms everywhere. I can get 5 nights at CP in the Augustus tower, and I haven't set foot in the place in years. But my offer with Free Play came only at the property where I spent my "bundle".

On the CET side, the offers you get are based on your ADT. The offers tend to spread across all properties. No matter who you ask, they say you can play at multiple properties and it does not lower your ADT. Years ago, when we could figure out our ADT, we learned that was not true. Each casino you played at counted as another DAY or VISIT. No way in hell can you figure that out anymore. No idea.

At MGM, they tend to bunch your play together for a visit which can be multiple days.

if you are going to casino hop, you decide if it is more important to you to just get points, or build a good ADT. Personally, if I play at either CET or MGM, I pick one that I will play at for the trip. Any play at others is usually a quick hit and I do not use my card there. Points are of minimal value. ADT is worth more.

On our Feb trip we decided to leave downtown and visit the Strip for a few hours. Did a lot of walking but the only place we gambled was about an hour at Paris playing bartops. Total loss $100.

Anyway in yesterday's mail I get an offer good Sept-Nov.
Free rooms Sun-Thurs at Rio, Flamingo, Harrah's or IP.

Most of the Fri & Sat are $67 at all the above places.

In the flyer, it says I have 44 total reward points.:poke:
