We are looking into getting this for my Dad. I would appreciate any information that you might have regarding this company or any others that are similar. Thanks.

    Life alert cell phone

There is a new cell phone named "Jitters". My best friend got one because she lives alone and she said all she has to do is press something on the phone and she gets 911 help right away. It is not expensive either.

I plan to get one too. Check out their website for more info.

My mum uses one from a local alarm company. Just like life alert. My mum carries around her cell phone too, but this just makes her feel more secure that it's around her neck and she just has to push the button for help.

I think it was $100 to start and $20 a month for service. She may get a discount as they are her house alarm company too.
