For March Madness 2012, I stayed at the Plaza in a room that I paid for upfront. Before checkout I went to the players’ club and spoke with a host and he/she comped 2 nights. He/she gave me a business card and said let me know if you ever need anything in the future. Six months before MM 2013, I email the host and get 4 nights comped upfront. I also tell her that I’ve been getting monthly Plaza “marketing” offers for 4 nights and $40 in free play and ask whether he can match that. He says no, but will change my reservations once I get the March 2013 marketing offer. I eventually get the marketing offer and the reservation gets changed. In the past few weeks, I’ve emailed the host twice requesting a room for MM 2014. And I have NOT received any responses. So I don’t know if I actually have a host anymore. To be honest I would consider myself a low roller and probably not entitled to one, but I am “Queen” under their new players club. 1) Should I just email one of the other hosts that is listed on the Plaza website? By the way I still see my host’s name listed on the Plaza website. So I know he still works there. 2) Do I owe any allegiance to the host? - especially since she is not responding to my emails and I basically stayed on a marketing offer for MM 2013. 3) Any recommendations on a new Plaza host? Which one of the hosts listed on the website should I choose?
