Do I go for the best offer or not?

Ok....I have a 5 day trip coming up to Vegas. I had been doing a bit of switching it up the last few trips, staying at CP for my CET days and either Aria or Mirage for my MLife days. Here is the deal. I have missed staying at Rio, so I am staying there for my CET days with $700 in free play (3 nights).

I am going to be double booked one night and my MLife choices are Mirage with $235 in free play and $200 resort credit, or Aria with $200 in free play and $50 resort credit. I feel like I should take the better offer from Mirage, but I really like Aria better for a lot of reasons. However, I think the slots pay better at Mirage, and they have lower table minimums. Yet, I still like Aria better. What would you do?

I would go to Aria....just because you are really wanting to stay there! Although the comp is slightly better, if you stay at Mirage and it turns out not to play as well as expected, you will REALLY regret not having gone to Aria!

I recently gave up a $300 comp in lieu of an event experience, ended up winning $1000 at the event! Worked out better in the end anyway!

    Good luck!!

I would take Aria, too. I've been in this situation before (for me it's usually MGM Grand giving me the better offer), and I almost always go with the property I'd rather stay at. Plus I love Aria.

As you stated already, you like Aria for a lot of better reasons. The difference in the FP and RC doesn't seem to justify staying at Mirage vice Aria, $35FP and $150RC to be exact. As the previous posts mentioned, I rather stay at a place that I know I will definitely like vice having to "predict" a place that I don't know if I'll like, which may or may not ruin my trip. But everyone has a different perspective where that extra FP and RC might be more important to you.

Aria. You also have to think of future comps. The more play you give Aria, the better your future offers are going to be.

Absolutely agree with JosieCat! Sounds like Aria is where you want to be anyway...
