Most comped rooms are for 2-3 nights. CET offers 5 nights standard for comps on their calendar. Casinos would rather you stay and spend within a shorter period of time.

Does the number of nights comped affect your length of stay? Would you stay longer if more nights were offered? Or, are you perfectly fine with them generally?

For me, the number of days comped never affects my planned trip-length.
I plan my trip first, then check to see who will comp me a room for those nights...of course, I always book mid-week trips, so that's a lot easier than it would be if I did the weekends like many here do.

Finally have the room booked! Look for me Feb 21-23

Being retired, I've got nothing but time on my hands, so yes, the amount of comped nights I can get has a definite affect on my length of stay.

That being said, recently the prime factor on when, how long and what days I stay is airfare pricing. They've almost got me priced out of Vegas the way it is, so I check daily for the bargains, then book the rooms.

    +1

Being from eastern Canada, it's a bit of a hike to get to Vegas, so I plan the trip and take what nights I can get comp'd and pay for the rest!

We usually get offers for 4-5 nights but only stay 3.

Would stay longer if more nights were offered.

Two days ago I booked a comp room for 5 nights for my January 2014 trip. I contacted central reservations and told them I want to stay 10 nights but the cost was showing $600+ for the 10 nights using the calendar. They booked me the ten nights for $128.00 at PH total. When the rooms are free or very cheap it determines my length of stay. Of course the longer I stay the more I spend so I guess they are getting the money one way or the other.

We never stay more than 2-3 nights so it usually works out perfectly for us.
