Do Casinos accept two sets of coupons (both ACG and LVA) for the same coupon

Many coupons are the same in both the American Casino Guide and Las Vegas Advisor coupon books (match plays, slot free plays, 2 for 1s, etc.) and my question is can you use the same coupons (one from ACG, one from LVA) within the year at most casinos, or do some, most, or all casinos restrict use to coupons from one book or the other? Also, can you typically use coupons from the two separate books during the same visit?

I've bought the ACG several times and while some of their coupons have dropped off over the years (including 4 drinks at EI - loved their egg nog special), I still get good use (500 4 Queens points alone pays for the book) from the book, but LVA has a much wider offering and I can justify the expense with the Pasta Pirate and Palms coupons.

    Your replies are appreciated.

    Thanks,

Yup you can use both but maybe not the same day. I have tried to use both slot plays for el cortez on the same day but have never been allowed.

Thanks Npom! I was mainly interested for the match play / slot play using one from each book within the same year.

I'll probably stick with ACG, but may consider LVA if you can use both for all match / slot play (the Palms coupon is limited to S-Th and certain expenses within the Palms, though I or my brother would still likely be able to use it).

I have a short 5 day trip in two weeks, a 10 day June trip and possibly a 10 day August/September trip depending on if I am attending a conference in Phoenix (or find cheap flights).

Thanks again and any confirmations on match / slot play are appreciated.

There is absolutely no problem using similar ACG and LVA coupons in the same year. They will both be honored and can even be used on the same trip. In some cases they can both be used on the same day, while others (such as El Cortez Slot Freeplay) have to be used on different days. We have been doing this for many years without a problem.

Thanks for the confirmation! I didn't want to buy both and only be able to use one of the two match-plays. I ordered the ACG today and will call LVA this week to see if they will let my brother pick up the book for me before I arrive.
