I love Dim Sum, any suggestions on where to get it in Vegas?

We've had it at some restaurant in Rio and I thought it was great.

I'm not too picky, but I do hesitate at super non-american things (i.e., chicken feet). We tried the chinese food court at the Link promenade last Christmas (2014) and didn't think it was good at all.

The dim sum cart on Fridays and Saturdays at Noodles in Bellagio is fantastic. Any time I am staying mid-strip on a weekend, I make a point of going there

Ping Pang Pong @ Gold Coast Dim Sum is great. We ate there today, the place was packed and we were one of the few non Asians in the place.

Ping Pang Pong is great but they cater those wanting authentic cuisine. If you hesitate to have authentic non-Americanized food, this might not be the place for you.

Non-Americanized dim sum? Ping Pang Pong's carts are fairly vanilla. Hit the dim sum joints in China (or in SF/ Vancouver for that matter) and you'll see things that make Thai street food aficionados cringe.

It's all relative. I didn't hit any Dim Sum places in China. The regular restaurants were exotic enough for me. I was warned to avoid the street food in China and I obeyed this directive.

I just wouldn't steer anyone away from Ping Pang Pong for the reasons you suggested. If anything, it's a great place for a dim sum first timer to try various shrimp dumplings, shu mai and flat noodle.

I believe they have a dim sum cart at Lemongrass at Aria on the weekends - at least they used to!

BTW - I also had the dim sum at the joint at the Rio and thought it was fantastic!

Love Ping Pong Pang. I agree, it's rather typical selections, nothing that extraordinary. All very delicious. I generally go to Chinatown in Philadelphia and it's comparable to the best spots there.

If you have a car, venture out to Vegas "Chinatown" for good, reasonable priced dim sum. Ping Pang Pong is to pricey for me. You're paying tourist price for OK food when just down the street, you can find several restaurants that serve better food for a lesser fare. Off of Spring Mt............I believe.

Lemon Grass has dim sum. They have a cart of steamed stuff and a cart of fried stuff. It's very good!
