So I'm coming to Vegas in June (5-9)

and last time I came to town I hit a lot of awesome places that I thought I'd never run into

For example... Dicks last resort restaurant / $1 margaritas at Bills Saloon / etc...

Anyone have any year-round deals or "diamonds" in the rough for me?

It would be greatly appreciated :)

(maybe even some decent buffet suggestions?!)

Last time I was in Vegas, I wondered into Bill's for the first time and it was actually a lot of fun. It kinda brought back old memories of Vegas before all of the glitz and glam. I'll be back in a week, but Bill's has since closed for remodeling. So my "diamond in the rough" won't be there :/

Stampede, for beer/drinks you cannot do much better than Casino Royal's Michelob Bottle, or pre mixed Margaria or Strawberry Daiquiri for $1.00. If you hit the promo slots at the entrance they give you a 2-for coupon but don't waste your time on the free play. Ellis Island just East of the old Bills has a good off menu steak special and better than average microbrews. Stage Door behind the old Bills is a dive bar with a dollar/shot special. It is worth going in to Stage Door just to make you realize you hit the genetic lottery.

I'm sure everyone knows by now, but the secret pizza place at Cosmo! It's great pizza and it's cheap. Nice to be able to grab a cheap bite in such a classy place.

Another not-so-secret thing, Earl of Sandwich at PH and Palms is SO good for cheap food.

Carrot Top . Best, most hilarious show on the strip by a mile, and probably one of the cheapest.

Also. Trump International. Amazing hotel, amazing huge rooms, the rates are really reasonable, especially on Priceline and Hotwire. Everyone always ignores this place, but if you are looking for a top notch room at a bargain price, this is it right here. I had two unbelievable stays there last year, and I'm dying to go back.
