Dec 16th - 21st

Lucy is out of town on a cruise, but I'd say it's a go. I'll try to be there, too; I have dinner plans that night but can probably come for an hour or so...

The Tuesday works better for me so I'm in for that.

 

I will be there the 16th-25th. First 2 nights at Paris, next 3 nights at El Cortez, then last 4 nights at Ceasars Palace.

 

Meet & Greet set for Tuesday,Dec. 18th, Wed.,Dec.19th

Hi Everybody! I am back from a great cruise.

I want to make it possible for us to be able to meet on two different dates
so we can meet on dates that are possible for some of you.

We are meeting at Times Square Bar, NewYorkNY Hotel.

TIME: Between 4.m. - 6p.m. Wear your Madi Gras beads or any kind of beads.

I love going to Happy Hour at the NYNY Times Square Bar and will be there
to greet you all on Tuesday, Dec. 18th, and on Dec. 19th.

I am looking foreward to meeting you all. I will be staying at the Paris Hotel
for 3 nights from Dec. 17th. I leave on Dec. 20th. I am in the habit of visiting Vegas for 3 nights but in the future I plan to stay some extra nights.

With two days to choose from, it might be difficult to come up with a good excuse not to show up! Ms. Gecko, Vern the Turtle, and I intend on coming one of those dates. We'll be staying at the Gold Coast those two days. See ya!

 

We are planning to be there. Right now we are in Tucamcari, NM after driving 100 miles thru a veritable blizzard last night. They finally shut down I40. We would have gotten off the road sooner but *no hotels* at any of the few exits until we got here! I couldn't stop shaking for hours. I'm from Florida. Certainly not used to icy roads and snow blowing straight at me! We've driven over 1600 miles. Only 600 and something to go. Right now it's 11 degrees and about a foot of snow out the window of our hotel.

Packing clothes for Vegas

Since it is December..... I plan to wear red and green outfits.

I have a really nice warm red shal wrap. I plan to wear a cutsy red outfit with glitter on it for our Happy Hour days on Tuesday and Wednesday.

I will be wearing red chili peppers Madi Gras beads and lots of other colors
of beads. I will also be wearing a cutsy tiny Mexican hat. Everybody loves
that hat and want to know where I bought it.

I am planning to buy me a piece of luggage that has the Las Vegas name all
over it if I can find it at the Fashion Mall in Vegas. They are sold at the airport.

It is going to be so nice to meet you all. Lucy

 

Had a fun happy hour get-together tonight with Lucy, her friend Bill, and Bigdogmom. There was a great sax player in the Times Square Bar who we listened to for awhile and then when he went on a break, we got to visit a little bit.

 

I made the mistake of heading back to my room and trying out my jacuzzi tub followed by a nap thus making me miss the meet! Sorry guys!!!

 

Ms. Gecko (with Vern the Turtle) and I hoofed it from Bill's to NYNY and hung around TSB from 3:45 'til about 4:10. We never actually went in, however, as we're thoroughly burned out on sax (that's sAx) after many FSE visits. I'm afraid we just weren't feeling very sociable after a long arrival day and playing and drinking at Gold Coast. Sorry about that! All rested and feeling good this morning, but don't yet know what we'll doing today other than winning more money. (Did well at VP, lousy at BJ, but still ahead.) Sorry we missed you.

 

We had fun at the NYNY Happy Hour

I enjoyed meetingBigdogmom and Ashton7 and her friend at the happy hour.
I noticed my Vegas friend Bill was really quiet and not much of a talker.
We had to leave after an hour because we had to go meet his relative for
dinner at the Paris Hotel. That was Tuesday afternoon.

I showed up on Wed. but none of our members showed up. It was okay because I always enjoy the Sax man singing and playing his Sax.
I never count on people showing up with the get togethers because I know that other activities can get in the way of meeting up.

I did like the cold weather because it felt like if I was in Alaska.lol.
I have been to Alaska several times and Vegas reminded me of Alaska.
