Which Deadliest Catch boat would you most like to work on?

It's a tough decision but I would pick the Northwestern. It would feel much safer around the Hansen brothers. They also usually earn the most money.

I would not want to be anywhere around Captain Wild Bill Wichrowski and the Cape Caution. The deck boss is also a dick. Two dicks is too many.

Too much drama on the Saga.

Too much inexperience on Cornelia Marie.

Time Bandit would probably be my second choice.

Captain Keith on the Wizard is a good captain, but he has no mercy on green horns. BTW, what happened to Freddy? He got drunk and missed sailing but was he fired?

I used to watch that show when it started out.
My high school buddy - captains a fishing boat on the other side of the penninsula.
He said he knows most of those guys on that show.
How many years has it been on now,Breeze ?

    BTW -
That buddy, of mine, got caught up in the winch, on a boat, years ago.
    His hip was crushed.
It took many, many hours before a rescue copter air lifted him.

    Breeze,

As in wounded? No. I had more Huey hops than I care to remember. I was on one that went down due to engine failure, but somehow everyone walked away with no more than bruises. Which is why I refuse to get on the helicopter ride over The Strip.

I believe the show has been on 9 or 10 seasons.

I wouldnt want to work on any of those boats. Dangerous job. I watched that show for a bit. One big wave and you are gone, fish food. I stopped after that one guy got sick with the blood clot and ended up dying. Seemed like too much drama and got sick of the captains being dicks to the green horns. You don't have to be friendly but teach them instead of just bitching. If I had to catch crabs I would prefer catching them a different way than working on the boat.

That was funny last night watching their reaction to the end of the Super Bowl. After the buildup to it, including the crew of Wizard getting into a skiff in the middle of the Bering Sea and going over to the Cornelia Marie to watch it, was pretty funny, knowing what the outcome was going to be. They all had the same reaction I did in real time and they are all Seahawks fans.

Met the crew from the Cornelia Marie(when Capt. Phil was still alive and his 2 sons) and Jonathan from the Time Bandit at the Gold Coast a few years ago.

They were really great and just like they appear on tv.
