Planning to travel through Bilouxi in about a week, was wandering which was best casino for a day trip. I like to play poker and the wife does penny slots. Any suggestions

Beau Rivage (a MGM property) and IP (Boyd Gaming) are my favorites, particularly since Margaritaville closed. Both hotel/casinos tend toward the upper end of the casino spectrum (particularly in Biloxi). They both have poker rooms. Good luck!

I agree with DrLect, those are my 2 favorites, but I also like the Hard Rock(next to Beau Rivage) and the Golden Nuggett. We will be in Biloxi next weekend.

For your poker needs, I would recommend either the IP or the Beau Rivage. To me, those are the two best rooms on the coast, especially if you are on a day-time schedule. The Golden Nugget and Hard Rock both have rooms but they are in the second tier in my opinion. The penny slots are going to be pretty similar at both places.

IMHO the two best properties are the Beau and HR. They are right next to each other as a big plus.
