How strict is the Cromwell with entry into their pool during the day? Technically, the Cromwell doesn't own the pool, it's owned by Drai's, but if you flash your Cromwell room key, do they just let you in? Or, do they check your name and ID against a computer of registered guests?

    Thanks!

I should know this but it's a blur. Stayed there from a Tuesday to Friday. I believe they just asked for a room card and id. If you are looking to go in on a high volume day like a Friday-Sunday when the day club is in full swing I would expect they would check your information. My girlfriend and I went to the pool around 10am so they were very laxed.

Was there anyone at the pool during the week, during the day? I was there last year in July and on Wednesday afternoon there were less than 10 people.

I just came back from staying at the Cromwell yesterday and they did make you give your DL and show room key before you entered. They must have checked to see if you were staying there because it took a few minutes before they let you in. I went two days and it opens at 10 but if you go about 9:45 they go ahead and let you in. I stayed until noon each time and there was about 30 or 40 people there by the time I left.

If it's a long weekend or special occasion, they charge cover at the pool even during the day for hotel guests but you can use Bally's and I think Flamingo? During the Memorial day weekend, they had special DJ's etc and were charging cover from open til close.

I just got back from the Cromwell also. From 10-11 are hotel guests only and they do check this. After that, anyone can visit but if I understood correctly, they have to pay a cover charge. You can also use Bally's, Flamingo and Caesar's pools for free.

Is it pretty hassle free to go next door and use the flamingo pool when staying at the Cromwell. I will be at the Cromwell on EDC weekend, so my guess is the day club/cover charge will be in effect. I always wanted to try the Flamingo pool, and it seems to be a short walk from Cromwell. Do I need to bring my ID and key card from the Cromwell?
